Summerfest!

Orem has a carnival every year in June and it it rains every year in June! Despite the rain, its still fun. We walked around looking at all the booths and let Rachel go on a couple rides. Then when it gets dark we come back for fireworks.

Rachel really wanted to ride the spinning strawberries and she was just a pinch too short but the guy working the ride didn't seem to care. I thought she wouldn't like all the spinning but she had fun.

Tulip Festival

On Saturday we went with some friends to the Tulip Festival. Its just a 15 min drive from where we live. Rachel had a lot of fun running around on all the spacious grassy areas. And yes, I cut her hair short! She loves it and I love it because now I don't have to fight with her every day to get all the tangles out. I think it turned out pretty cute.

Rachel loves dressing up like a ballerina and dancing all around the house. She always asks for "girl music" so she can dance to it. She says she is going to be a dancer like her aunt Heather.

So do I put her in Ballet this summer or preschool?

Timp triathlon

On April 17th Will ran the Timp triathlon in Orem. This was his 3rd time doing this particular race. He didn't train as much but still came in at 1hr 8min. Thats only about a minute slower than his first time doing this course. Pretty good, I think.

He has done a few races with his friend Matt but he just went on his mission a few days before this race. He plans on racing with Matt in mind for the next two years.

Rachel's 3rd birthday

Rachel turned 3 on March 21st! I know, I am a month late blogging it.

Daddy helped Rachel open her family gifts on her birthday.

We had her party on Saturday, the day before her birthday. She wanted to have a girls only party this year so she picked out all the friends she wanted to be invited and chose a Dora the Explorer theme.

My mom came out from California for the week to visit and Rachel was very excited to have her Grandma Judd here. Mom's birthday is the day before Rachel's so they got to celebrate together.

Its crazy to think that she is 3 already. She is so smart and has grown so much. Well she is still small for her age coming in at only 27 lbs but you know what I mean.
