We've been having a lot of fun here visiting my parents. We went to the park, the Children's Discovery Museum, the Boardwalk and Raging waters so far.

London free day
So today was my first day to do some sight seeing. I started off going to Piccadilly Circus and just started walking from there. I went through town to BIG BEN, found the London Eye and went for a ride, and went by Buckingham palace and ate lunch in the park and took a nap. All in all a really nice day to relax.
Dont I look excited? Just for those who dont know, I AM TERRIFIED OF HEIGHTS!!! If that fear isnt present in this photo then maybe i ate something for breakfast that didnt agree with me.
The London Eye is the large of it's kind in the world. Check the photo from the top of the wheel, fun thing is that is moves constantly and you dont feel the movement..........until they stop it for someone who cant walk fast enough to get on it.
This is Piccadilly Circus, there is tons of shopping and the Ripley Believe it or not museum and a ton of other things you can go do and see. The rest of the photos are pretty self explanatory, I didn't get to see the changing of the guard but I am going to make it sometime while I am here. I did get the photo below of the guard on his horse and man they dont move at all. I did get to see Buckingham palace and have tea with the queen........ok not really but I did get to chill in the park surrounding the palace like every other tourist and it was actually a nice day. I bought an umbrella thinking I would need it but not yet, although I keep being told that it will change while I am here. I will take some more photos and what not later on this week and I have another weekend here before I leave. ENJOY!

Germany So far
Here are photos from my trip so far, I am only two days into my five day stay then onto London. the First photo is of a really cool looking building (no I didnt find out what it was) just as you exit the Karlsplatz subway station. The second Photo is just a shot down the street from my Hotel entrance. The third photo is the main shopping street that leads to the Old Town Hall. The fourth photo is of the fountain at Karlsplatz, the fifth photo is of peoples I consider Family. Joanna and John on the left live in Heidelberg Germany and have lived in country for 6 years, Joanna works as a contractor for the US Government. John works on post at the Commissary. They have two daughters living with them, Jenn is the older daughter and couldn't come down to visit, Rachel is the youngest (Ive known her since she was 9 I think earlier than that but man I shutter to think how long ago it was). The last photo is of me taking my own picture in front of a fountain at the end of the main shopping street Neuhauserstr. The movie is of the Old Town Hall which is now a beautiful gathering area surrounded by pubs and eatery's. And that's it for now like the video says more to come.

I forgot about father's day!
Will's parents and younger sister Heather came out to Utah to bring Heather to BYU and they just happened to be here father's day weekend. We don't see them very often so it was a great treat to spend a few days together. We went to Temple square on Sunday and had a picnic lunch.

Swimming in the backyard
I got the kids a bigger pool for this summer and pulled it out last week since our rainy June has finally ended. They loved it even though they were shivering the whole time. Hose water is pretty cold!

Rachel's Prayer
We have prayer regularly in our home, at meals and bed time. Rachel knows how to fold her arms and will usually say the prayer if we ask her but we have to whisper it in her ear then she repeats it. This morning she was making play food at the table and she decided she was having pizza and grapes. so she gets her pretend food ready at the table and then says she needs to say prayer. This is her prayer: " Heavenly Father, Thank you for this day, thank you for house, thank you for blessings, thank you for church, thank you for toys, thank you for trees, thank you for outside, um what else, thank you for family, thank you for blessings, name of Jesus Christ, Amen"
I though it was so cute, I had to write it down right away before I forgot what she said. I'm glad she said prayer all by herself.

she's so sneaky
This is how we found Rachel one night last week when we came upstairs from watching a movie. I don't know why she decided to get out of bed and fall asleep in the hall. I guess she wanted to listen to our movie with out getting in trouble.

catching up
I am so behind in blogging this month! And why the heck is my text blue and underlined. Something is up with blogger. So any way, we haven't been up to much lately, just biding our time till our family camping trip in august.
First round of pictures is from Chuck E. Cheese on May 9th.This set is from the Aquarium on 5/18
And here is our fun trip to the zoo on 5/15. Rachel kept asking to see Alex the lion and I had to break her heart and tell her that there is no lion at this zoo. I think the monkeys were her favorite. That or the carousel.
